For years our society
has looked for a ‘magic pill’ or a brilliant
diet that will solve all of our weight problems. Meanwhile,
the rate of obesity is skyrocketing. The solution has
been with us all along. Studies show that a mere thirty
minutes a day of aerobic activity can give great results.
Weight loss is very difficult to achieve and almost impossible
to maintain without aerobic activity. Cutting calories
alone may send your body into a more efficient use of
calories. Have you ever lost some weight, only to find
yourself reaching a plateau with no more weight loss?
Aerobic exercises will keep your metabolism going and
will help you burn fat.
Aerobic exercise can help reduce the risk of many of the
biggest medical conditions threatening people today. By
increasing your heart rate and oxygen intake, you give
your cardiovascular system, including your heart, blood
vessels, and lungs, a work out. In time, you will improve
your cardiovascular system and burn fat. The end results
will be a reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease,
type 2 diabetes, and many other medical conditions. You
will also see an improvement in the functioning of your
immune system.
Do not panic when you hear the word ‘aerobic’.
Many people associate aerobic exercise with extreme work
outs wearing spandex tights with a room full of hyper,
skinny people. Fortunately, this is only one of many ways
to get aerobic exercise. Any type of activity that gets
your heart rate up and increases your intake of oxygen
is considered aerobic. It is important to engage in activity
that increases your heart rate without overdoing it. A
general rule of thumb is to make sure that you are able
to carry a conversation while working out.
It is important to choose a method of exercise that fits
into your life style so that you can maintain it in the
long run. If you absolutely hate going to the gym in the
winter, do not choose this form of exercise because it
will be too hard to stick with. Some people prefer indoor
activity, such as using a treadmill or working out with
a DVD. Other people want to get outdoors and walk, swim,
or ride a bicycle. The important thing is to find something
that works for you.
Another positive ‘side effect’ of aerobic
exercise is the production of ‘feel good’
chemicals in your body. Endorphins are released into the
blood stream when a person engages in aerobic activity.
Endorphins have been shown to give people a sense of well
being and to lift the spirits.

Choose an aerobic activity that fits
your level of fitness. Do not start with something that will
undermine your exercise programme. Some people have a tendency
to do too much when they start an exercise programme. If you do
too much too fast, you may feel so sore that you will not continue
with the programme. Take it one step at a time, and soon you will
be able to exercise at the level you want to.
If you want to know more about aerobic exercise why don’t
you go to the download
page and access the digital book “Aerobic Exercise
and the Fat Burning Zone” absolutely free.
Feel
Great by Losing Weight comment:
Science has taught us a lot about weight loss, and
although by doing hours and hours of aerobic activity
it is possible to lose weight, it is not the most
efficient way, in fact it is not efficient at all.
It also has a few drawbacks as many people find
when they start throttling back on the time spent
at the activity. Our flag ship product the “Feel
Great by Losing Weight” programme describes
in detail two very different types of exercise that
when used together will absolutely explode your
weight loss efforts. And the best bit, the effect
of the exercises continues even when you have stopped
exercising. It just doesn’t get better than
that. But to lose weight effectively and for good
you need an integrated approach. To set you on the
right path, why don’t you grab a copy of our
free digital book “The Great
Diet Con” from the download
area crammed full of eye-popping information.
Then you will almost certainly want to get your
hands on our “Feel Great by Losing Weight”
programme. So for more information on an easy to follow
successful approach to weight loss click
